Dear Valued Customer,
As you may be aware, the Administration has imposed an additional 25% tariff on steel and aluminum products and their derivatives, effective June 4, 2025. This new tariff is in addition to the existing Section 232 tariffs and has created a significant and immediate cost impact on affected materials.
As a result, Merit Brass will be implementing a price adjustment across the following piping product categories effective June 9th, 2025:
• Stainless Steel Nipples
• Stainless Steel ANSI Flange
• Stainless Steel Buttweld Fittings
• Stainless Steel 150# Fittings
• Stainless Steel 1000# Fittings
• Stainless Steel 3000# Fittings
• Forged Carbon Steel Fittings
• Aluminum Nipples
These adjustments will be reflected through updated multipliers, rather than changes to our published list prices. Please contact your local Merit Brass representative for multiplier details specific to your business.
